That is up to the teen and family. Many families find it helps to review the log together, but the tool works as a private self-check too. If results are concerning, involving a trusted adult is a good idea.

Self-tracking adaptation of the Mood and Feelings Questionnaire (MFQ; Angold & Costello, 1987) and the PHQ-9 Modified for Adolescents (PHQ-A; Richardson et al., 2010), which use a two-week frequency window to flag persistent low or irritable mood in young people.
